I launched my business at 20 years old with a clear goal: to achieve greatness and make a lasting impact in the industry. From the start, I’ve been committed to delivering the highest level of service and top-tier bloodlines to help elevate industry standards.
Even before founding Big Skye Performance Horses, I knew my heart was set on building a program that raised the next generation of champions. I worked day and night to afford my very first mare, Lena Dual Dandi. With her, my journey began. To give myself every possible advantage, I sent myself to Texas to study equine reproduction hands-on—learning embryo transfer, ultrasounding, and AI. 

Lena Dual Dandi had the most perfect filly, Big Skye Dandi Cat, I then bred her to Sannman and got my keeper colt, Reynin Dollars—a moment that made all the sacrifices worth it. But just a year later, tragedy struck. During her labor, a colt was positioned upside down, shoulder locked, and with both legs back. We lost the Metallic Cat colt that day, an experience no breeder ever forgets. But by God’s grace, I still have the mare that started it all standing in my barn.

As my program grew, I added Blue Light District—a horse who has become the heartbeat of Big Skye Performance Horses. He embodies everything I dreamed of when I first started: presence, talent, grit, and the kind of horse that inspires you every time you walk into the barn. He isn’t just a stallion to me—he’s family, a reminder that belief and hard work create something extraordinary.

These horses are not just numbers or names in my barn. They are living proof of the blood, sweat, and prayers I’ve poured into this journey. They represent my late nights, my early mornings, the risks I’ve taken, and the faith that carried me through heartbreak and triumph alike. They are my life’s greatest adventure and my clearest purpose. And through them, I hope to leave behind a legacy that inspires others to chase their own dreams with everything they have
